Trisocial has developed an advanced anti fraud system to guarantee the quality of the participants in Facebook contests and promotions.
Trisocial has developed an advanced antifraud system. To the already effective measures that you have always been able to activate to avoid prize hunters on your Facebook contests, now other ones have been added and they practically guarantee the transparence of the participation and the quality of the new leads obtained.
Here is the antifraud configuration panel -whose activation is optional- and its new features that will avoid prize hunters on your Facebook contests.
Once you have activated the antifraud configuration in the ‘Configuration’ tab of your contest, you will be shown a list of options:
- Maximum of votes from a participant from the same computer/browser
You can choose the maximum number of votes that can be made from the same computer or browser. It is not convenient to put a very high valour because votes from the same computer or browser can also be legal.
- Minutes while more votes from a participants from the same ip are not admitted
The aim is to avoid that a participation is voted several times and in very short periods of time. This is how we avoid participants who buy votes. It is not convenient to put a high value, because votes from the same ip can be legal. For example, universities or enterprises can be using the same ip.
- Minimum number of friends that participant must have
False Facebook profiles usually do not have many friends so, considering this, a low cypher could not be sufficiently restrictive to avoid fraudulent participations.
- Participant must be a verified Facebook user
Facebook user verifications is now something very common: you can add a mobile phone number -or a credit card number- and the system verifies that you are a real person. Obviously, this proccess is not a possibility opened to all Facebook profiles, so restricting using this section can be a good way to avoid participations and votes from false profiles.
- Participant and voter must be friends
This option avoids the purchase of fraudulent votes in a very effective way because the system will check if voter and participant are friends. In many cases, prize hunters use other social networks to get votes, so activating this measure will prevent this practice.
- Avoid participations from users reported as prize hunters
Prize hunters only want to get the prize and do not care about the brand that carries out the promotion. This profiles participation makes leads quality come down, so Trisocial allows contests organizers -not only to avoid these participations- but also report as prize hunters these profiles so that, in a collaborative way, all the organizers could be benefited.
- Filter by country
In ‘Participants configuration’ you will be able to filter by country when participating, what will make useless to buy votes, that usually come from different countries.
If antifraud system is activated, those participations that do not comply the conditions will receive a message. It is not compulsory to activate this configuration, or use another one not so restrictive and validate participations once done. Trisocial applications collect information like the one used for these filters (ip, number of friends, verified user check,…) so you can decide at any time.
Advanced antifraud system is available in PREMIUM and WHITE LABEL applications and plans.
